Basically, Decks 1 and 3 would output to USB1 and Decks 2 & 4 would output to USB2. As to 'making it 4 decks' - you could still make it 4 decks in 'control' but not in 4 decks of dedicated audio output. If we would have been involved from the beginning - I would have insisted that they re-tract and market the VirtualDJ support correctly OR improve the hardware to support the before mentioned marketing. It leaves us with a hardware unit that only has 2 audio channels on the sound card - hence, 1 out for left side and 1 out for right side. And on top of that, they decided not to release it with VirtualDJ LE and therefore did not include us in the development process. They didn't even release the unit until just a couple months ago. How come when this unit was first released, it came out with full 4 deck VDJ software according to this video? That means you must have got a sample unit ages ago?! I'm confused, you only made it support 2 decks but then you say you can do 4 decks? First, that Video was done a year ago, by Numark and without any input from VirtualDJ.
the 'Malarky' comment was meant as a light hearted joke, sorry if it came across different. file ? how do i fix the cross-fader problem as this is not my area of expertise. Ref last post - what do i do with the xml. I do appreciate all that you do and love the VDJ software and the Numark kit.
I have also contacted Numark directly about this and all they say is that they are working with you guys at VDJ. Things like this should be sorted out before the product is released - do you guys get the hardware sent to you before release ? if not, then maybe Numark should do this. Enjoy and Happy Mixing!!! I am sorry! but when you spend a lot of money on a product and 'Numark' do not have these things in place before hand it is very frustrating. What is going on with this mapping malarky ? Kind of a bold statement for someone asking help, don't ya think? Any how.
